Historic Homes in Virginia-Highland

Affectionately referred to as “VaHi” by locals, this neighborhood is named after the intersection of Virginia Avenue and Highland Avenue and is divided into four distinct villages that are known for their idyllic bungalows and other historic homes built primarily between the 1910s and the 1930s.

Each December, the Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes enables the public a chance to see inside these gorgeous old houses, tasting food provided by local restaurants while strolling from house to house. But VaHi is far from being just a historical treasure--in fact, it’s best days are now.
